“I only wish my mum could stay as she has thrived in this happy environment.” recent review from a daughter of a resident living with us for a short stay on carehome.co.uk

One relative told inspectors when we were last visited: “The home does well, they are approachable and willing to change things if necessary and my loved one gets the care and support they deserve.”  Another relative said, “The registered manager and staff ring me if there are any changes in loved one’s care. I also ring them if I have any questions and they answer my questions.”

Our well established Care team offers nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, as well as 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions.. We also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.

We run a busy activities programme to make sure our residents get the most out of everyday and based on our current resident interests, including:

  • animal therapy,
  • weekly exercise to music sessions
  • days out,
  • regular visits from the local nursery,
  • in the summer we have a garden party and a trip to the beach,
  • residents attend religious events held at their nearby church, and
  • we host visits from local entertainers.

We also have excellent community links and support our residents to maintain any existing or to forge new links with community organisations or social activities.

Key Information

We provide care for those who are publicly funded as well as those paying for their own care.

It’s important to get professional advice on the best way to fund the cost of care and we suggest that you take advice from a care fees expert to make sure that you have explored all the options available to you.

In order to make life easier we have contacted a national care fees planning specialist, Symponia who are dedicated to the financial issues of later life, in particular the payment of care fees. Through Symponia’s network of carefully selected and qualified financial advisers they offer you and/or your family member empathic, bespoke advice on the best way to fund weekly care fees. This approach ensures that not only are all our residents and their families aware of the legislation and how it works but they are able to explore all the financial options available to them.

It should be noted that Four Seasons Health Care and Symponia operate completely independently with no commission or financial benefit to Four Seasons Health Care as a result of your conversation or contract.
